Snowflakes......

upon my wake
makes me smile

drifting down
if only for awhile
on this town

white like diamonds

tear drops of rain

frozen 
like my heart

makes a snowflake

sparkle

vanishing

on my black dress

like jets in the night.

to see no one

What I once was

was what I hide

until I met you

& became your bride

Time has passed

& the ghost of me

comes alive.
