A Charmed Life

The jingling sound of her charms

forever takes me back in time

the dangling icons

making me wish

they were mine.

I got my wish

at the end

 of her time

too sad

for her to know

how her charms

make me think of her so.

The ghost of me....

What I once was

was what I hide

until I met you

& became your bride

Time has passed

& the ghost of me

comes alive.
